A shared project archive in SharePoint or your project platform, with a fixed folder structure, versioning and permissions per job. No more drawings on USB sticks and personal drives.
A contractor runs a permanent head office with a design team and estimators, plus a handful of building sites that open and close as projects come and go. Add heavy BIM models, a changing cast of subcontractors and a site manager who needs the latest drawing in a cabin outside Vejle. We bring all of that into one IT setup and run it remotely.
Five areas. Three concern the office and design work, two concern the sites. Plugging in kit on site takes your own people a few minutes.

Revit and IFC files are too heavy for a mobile link. We set up virtual desktops or cloud model sharing, so only the screen image travels across the connection.
Guest access in Microsoft 365 scoped to a single project, with MFA and automatic expiry at handover. No shared passwords pinned up in the cabin.
A 4G/5G router pre-configured by us and shipped straight from the reseller. The site manager powers it up, and we take over management, VPN and monitoring from our end.
Devices are enrolled in Intune before they leave the box. The site manager signs in with a work account and has apps, drawings and email straight away. A lost tablet is wiped remotely.
A project lasts from a few months to several years. The IT has to start up and wind down as quickly as the site compound.
The biggest time sink is opening drawings directly over a weak connection. It is slow, and if the link drops while saving, the file can be corrupted. Working through a virtual desktop or a cloud viewer means only the picture is transmitted, while the model stays safely in one central place.
It arrives fully configured, so it only needs power and perhaps an external antenna. The site manager or site electrician does that using our short guide. Everything else, from VPN to firewall and monitoring, we handle remotely.
Not necessarily. If heavy calculations and renders run only now and then, pooling that power in the cloud and giving designers standard machines often pays off. We cost out both models with you before you decide.
With one archive where the current revision always sits on top and older ones can only be opened deliberately. That is as much about working practice as technology, so we write the naming and issuing rules together with you.
Their guest access expires automatically on a date you set, and can be extended with one click if snagging comes up. All access is logged, so you can show who viewed what if the client asks.
Let us know how many sites are running, which programs your design team uses and how drawings are shared today. We will propose a setup for both office and site.
