When it pays off

Bringing in outside eyes is not always necessary. These are the situations where it nearly always earns its keep.

A big purchase or tender

A second opinion before the signature. Without it, a poor fit gets paid for twice: once to buy, once to rebuild.

Switching IT supplier

We assess the current state and handover risks. Without it, you take over an undocumented setup shaped by choices you never made.

NIS2 is knocking

We establish whether and how you are in scope. Management is personally accountable for cyber security and needs an overview it can stand behind.

New locations and growth

We draw up a plan with headroom. Otherwise you hit the ceiling in a year, just when it hurts most.

Suppliers contradict each other

An outsider sets the bids side by side. Without that, the cheapest bid tends to win over the most suitable.

Let us be upfront about our own bias. A supplier that both uncovers the problems and sells the fix is not impartial by nature. That is why the cost estimates in our reports reflect typical Danish market levels, not Apply's tariffs, and you are free to hand the follow-up work to any other supplier.

How a review unfolds

Talking to people takes up far more of the schedule than looking at configurations. Problems typically stem from habits and workflows, seldom from hardware specifications. Interviews and meetings take place on Teams.

01

Interviews

Directors get one session; the staff who work in the systems from nine to five get another. The gap between those two stories is often the key finding.

02

Systems review

We examine the architecture, licences, supplier contracts and how much critical knowledge depends on a single colleague.

03

Assessment and ranking

Every finding is scored twice - the damage it does today and the price of removing it. You end up with an ordered plan rather than a list of good intentions.

04

Walk-through with management

We do not just email the report. We go through it page by page with the leadership team on a video call and answer questions as they come up.

Questions and answers

No. The assessment is a technical inventory covering hardware, licensing and weak spots. Consulting is about choosing a direction, so it begins with your commercial goals. Many clients book the two back to back.

Quite common, and not a problem. Our conversations are with the owner or CFO, framed in kroner and deadlines instead of jargon. The technical material is kept in an annex.

Yes. We determine whether the company is an essential entity, an important one or out of scope, map the gaps against the requirements and plan risk management, incident reporting and supplier oversight. Management gets a basis for decisions it can approve and follow up on. We work along ISO 27001 principles but do not issue certification.

That does occur, for instance when a platform bought a few months ago turns out to miss the mark. We say it plainly, then lay out alternatives, including routes that keep some of the money already spent working for you.

It depends on scope and depth, usually two to six weeks of work. The hourly rate is DKK 895 excl. VAT, though most clients opt for a fixed price, quoted once an introductory Teams meeting has shown us how many systems and people are involved.

Tell us what is going on

Let us know which decision lies ahead and what is causing doubt. We will agree the depth of the review and propose a format.
