Topology
The network that actually exists, derived from the switches' own tables not from an old diagram someone once printed.
The usual trigger is a network acting strangely with no obvious culprit: the ERP system stutters, connections drop and Wi-Fi in the meeting room is pure luck. We take measurements and pinpoint the fault, rather than replacing equipment on a hunch.
An audit is built on measurement, not on a walk-through. Every assumption is checked against data from the equipment itself and from a small probe inside your network.

How full links and ports are, when the peaks arrive and what the error counters reveal.
Signal strength, channel overlap and interference from neighbours. A member of staff walks the premises with a survey app following our instructions, or your electrician does it.
Is the network split into VLANs for guests, office, printers and production, or does everything share one space where ransomware spreads in minutes.
Devices and links whose failure would stop the whole company or a large part of it.
Findings in priority order each with an indicative cost to put right.
One site is audited in three to five working days, including measurements at peak times.
Configurations, port statistics, a conversation with whoever knows the network and the complaints from users.
Load during working hours plus a Wi-Fi survey with a phone or laptop, guided by us over Teams.
Complaints are matched against the measurements. The cause is often somewhere other than expected.
Diagram, findings and an action plan. Physical changes, such as new cable runs, are specified so your electrical contractor can carry them out.
When staff say the internet is slow, the internet is seldom to blame. Measurements instead reveal a port with a duplex mismatch, access points sharing a channel or a server that has run out of disk space. Switching broadband provider changes nothing in that situation, yet the bill still gets paid every month.
No. Reading configuration and statistics has no effect on operations, and neither does the Wi-Fi survey. If an active scan is needed, we agree it separately and run it outside working hours.
That outcome is useful as well. It tells you to look at servers or applications instead, and it ends the cycle of buying new switches in the hope of a cure.
Whenever symptoms appear, otherwise roughly every 24 to 36 months, and in any case after an office move, rapid hiring or opening a new branch. Network documentation ages faster than its author expects, and for companies within the scope of NIS2 an up-to-date overview is part of the documentation requirement.
Describe the symptoms and the number of locations. Our measurements will pinpoint the underlying fault.
