Block-based theme
We develop a theme with custom Gutenberg blocks, so editors can put together new pages from ready-made pieces without breaking the layout.
A large share of Danish business websites run on WordPress, and for sensible reasons: editors already know it, developers are easy to find and the code belongs to you. Trouble starts when a site is assembled from a heavy page builder and twenty plugins. We keep the build simple so it is still quick and secure three years from now.
Whether it is a company site or a shop, a WordPress project with us follows the same outline: foundations, editing tools, integrations and handover.

Every plugin has to justify being there. Fewer plugins mean fewer security holes, fewer clashes during updates and faster pages.
If you sell online, we configure WooCommerce with MobilePay, card payments through Quickpay or Nexi and delivery by PostNord, GLS or DAO.
Orders, customers and invoices can sync with e-conomic, Dinero or Billy, so nobody in finance retypes figures from a screen.
A consent banner that records genuine consent, Google Consent Mode, a privacy notice and forms that collect only the data you actually use.
Logins, licences and documentation are registered to your company. Editors get a short online walkthrough and a guide to keep.
A company site usually takes four to six weeks; a WooCommerce shop tied into the accounts takes eight or more. Most of that time goes on content and data rather than code.
A video call about goals, audiences and the systems you already run. We look at your data before committing to a timeline.
The page structure and sketches are signed off before coding begins, when changes cost next to nothing.
Theme, blocks and integrations are developed on a staging site you can follow along the way.
Move to production, redirects from old URLs, checks on forms and payments, training for editors.
WordPress sites are rarely hacked through WordPress itself. The way in is nearly always an outdated or abandoned plugin that nobody has touched for a year. That is why we keep the list short, choose extensions that are actively maintained and agree from day one who updates what, and when.
Yes, that is the whole idea. Your staff handle text, images, news and new pages using the blocks we build. Bigger functional changes need a developer, but it does not have to be us. The code is standard WordPress and another agency can take it over.
They are quick to start with, but they make pages heavy and lock your content into one tool. For a small site that can be acceptable. For a company website meant to last for years, we prefer a bespoke block theme because it is faster and simpler to maintain.
WordPress itself is free. Ongoing costs are hosting, the domain, any premium plugins and time for updates. We go through the budget for your specific site before you decide, and updates can be covered by a maintenance agreement.
Let us know what the site has to do and which accounting system you use. We will reply with a realistic timeline and a proposed setup.
