PC tune-up and malware removal

Before ordering new computers, it pays to find out what is actually slowing the old ones down. It is usually one of three things: a spinning hard drive, too little memory or a queue of programs launching alongside Windows. We identify the cause over a remote session, and quite often it can be fixed without spending anything on hardware.

What the service covers

The diagnosis rests on data. Our agent records processor load, memory use and disk queue while the employee carries on as usual.

Hardware advice

If the data shows the disk or RAM is to blame, we say so precisely. Your supplier or a colleague fits the part following our instructions, and we prepare the system afterwards.

Heat

Overheating makes the processor throttle itself. We spot it in the temperature readings and tell you when a clean at a local shop is worth the money.

How we deliver it

Measurement runs quietly in the background for a day. The clean-up itself normally takes one to two hours per machine over a remote session.

Tools that promise to speed up your PC usually slow it down. So-called cleaners and boosters add themselves to startup, run constantly in the background and push adverts. The first thing we do on a sluggish machine is remove them, and surprisingly often that alone is enough.

Common questions

Against clutter and infections, yes. Against a slow hard drive and too little memory, no: a fresh install on a mechanical disk is just as sluggish again within weeks. That is why we measure first and only reinstall when it is genuinely the answer. With Intune a reset can even be triggered without anyone touching the device.

The signs are indirect: fans roaring while nothing is running, the browser opening unfamiliar sites, unknown extensions appearing or outbound traffic at night. A reliable answer needs scans with several independent tools, as any single one can miss things. If personal data may have leaked, we also help you judge whether the breach must be reported to Datatilsynet.

Yes. As a private customer you can book a remote session from DKK 495 incl. VAT. You install a small program, and we check and tidy up the machine while you watch.
